Last week Friday, the 10th of March 2017, the cosmetic world of Ghana was introduced to the new shades of the MAC Viva Glam. As announced that Taraji P. Henson and Jussie Smollet would be the faces of #VivaGlam 2017 which made everyone anticipate what these new shades looked like.
On that evening, the MAC store at the Accra mall was filled with lots of makeup lovers, some notable Makeup artists and bloggers, all ready to see what the new shades of the MAC Viva Glam looked like.
The two piece collection comes in fuchsia gloss with shimmers and a fuchsia satin lipstick.
Guess what? I was compelled to buy the lipstick not just because I love makeup but because the annual Viva Glam campaign by Mac donates all 100% of its sales towards helping people living with HIV or affected by HIV or AIDS. It feels good helping someone out, yet staying all glammed up.
I wore it on this picture with a MAC liner, although it’s a satin lipstick which leaves the lips silky and soft, it has a matte finish with high pigments which makes the longevity a 100%. I wear it to work in the morning and it’s still on even when I wash off my makeup after work. I really do like it and will recommend it anytime.
Check out some pictures from the event, that my phone captured. It was truly a fun night. My Afro and I were all over.
