Your eyebrows can either give you a polished look or a messy, one. Gone are the days you shaved all your eyebrow and still used a pencil over it, now it’s all about “Eyebrows on Fleek.”
In recent days, the trends have shifted from fuller, bold brows to more natural looking brows. Most times these all depend on the kinds of products we use and how we use it.
We’ve seen many foreign and local brands come out with products to enhance our brows and the latest addition from a Ghanaian brand is the Evita Joseph expert brow liner.
This product was officially launched on Saturday 27th May 2017, and of course, I attended to support an African sister and Ghanaian brand. A lot of positive things was said about this product but I had to test it to testify.
It’s a twistable pencil and I got it in Perfect Chocolate 02 shade. It’s protected with a cover, which keeps the product hygienic after use. This has no sharpener because all you have to do is twist out and twist in. I use it for filling and refining. This brow pencil is slim and thin with a hair-like precision of a pencil when drawn on, this helps in achieving a natural look no matter how you draw your arch. The texture of the brow pencil is soft waxy and matte. It’s very easy to get used to the texture, and easy to use. This chocolate shade suits my skin type and can even be used by a lighter skin shade or even a shade darker.
When applied in the morning, the pigments stay on without moving or smudging for more than 8 hours. I didn’t notice it fading until I cleaned it off. They are very good for anyone who wants long-lasting brows the whole day.
One of the best ways to use it start by a lighter intensity and increase as you go on. Remember to comb through the brow after you’ve applied the pencil, for more distribution of color.
It’s super realistic.
Pigmented, little goes a long way.
Easy to use.
Available in Four shades.
Maybe we need a Spoolie
Will definitely repurchase and will recommend to all makeup artists and people who want natural looking brows.
