I received this oil from Tree Of Life Ghana. I’m halfway through the bottle now and I’m really liking it. I have always heard about the Baobab Tree and even Baobab as food or even peppermint as producing oil. Getting this made me more interested in researching about both oils and to my surprise peppermint oil is not only like medicine but very therapeutic too while Baobab oil is rich in vitamins A, D, E but also omega 3,6,9, fatty acids which are great for skin. Tree of Life Ghana has different kinds of natural products for skin care but this one I consider a bit all-in-one because of the ingredients such as plant organic oils such mint, coconut oil, castor oil and therapeutic Grade Essential Oils.
In all honesty, I’m quite impressed with this oil, it’s so gentle and smooth on my skin, leaving the skin very relaxed with the cooling effect from the mint. I have also tried it on my face a couple of times with no side effects.
I suffer from Eczema and when the skin gets scaly and I find myself scratching those areas, I applied the oil over it, the itching reduced drastically, proving this could really be helpful in relieving dry skin conditions.
When it comes to my face I usually fear to apply oils on my face but trying this on the face is different because of its non greasy nature, my face absorbs it well with no side effects, could this be a night cream? I also tried to use it under my foundation as a base, it worked real fine, leaving the makeup smooth.
I also like to use this for my hair it’s non greasy and has a soothing effect to itches caused by dandruff or any irritation. To help combat dry scalp and hair I added a few drops to my sheer butter and my conditioner too. This conditions the hair without putting weight on it, leaving my hair soft, hydrated and shiny.
Have you tried this oil before? Please share your experience with me?
