In as much as I love wearing Black, choosing the right colors can both improve your mood and make you more attractive to those around you; Did I say attractive? Oh yes, I did.
It was one of those Saturdays I had to go for a shoot, Getting down from the car into public, all I could feel was a lot of eyes on me, “God, please don’t let me fall from all these eyes on me “, was all I prayed as walked on gracefully strutting my legs feeling like a model; probably a plus size one.
Your dress is so colorful said this elderly man; I smiled back at him saying thank you, sir, as I hastily walked on with my crew to set up. Right into the venue, familiar faces of industry people sprung out, the hugs and the chit chats began. “Your dress is beautiful”, Your Dress!” , “Your dress is slaying”, Your dress this and that… was all that kept ringing in every conversation but for a minute one question that caught my attention; ” What kind of Fabric is this?”
Well as dicey as it is to actually state what kind of Fabric it is, it’s a made in Ghana batik fabric. Unlike the regular styles of batik especially when it has to do with color, I love this one because of its combination and twist of earthy colors, the bright fringes below this shift dress is what gives that feminine factor. I paired it with flowery block heels. I really felt African and trendy at the same time in this Diva delicious shift dress. You can call me Diva Delicious!!!
