“ Busy” can be the perfect adjective to describe my life lately, its been a crazy roller coaster ride trying to manage work, family and relaxation all at once. It actually gets overwhelming at times but I always find a way out of this craziness, and that’s what I did last weekend.
Last weekend, I attended the Garden and Flower show held in Accra; I did really want to attend this fair because I had never attended but the question was what to wear. What to wear has always been a girl’s biggest problem since the days of Adam. When attending an event or gathering there are points I always look out for before choosing an outfit or ensemble. I look out for :
*Comfort : I need to be comfortable .
*Mood: How am I feeling ?
*Concept: What is the concept of the event ?
It was a weekend and an outdoor event, on a park and that screams “Casual”. I had to be casual and comfortable but in my own style, for that reason I had to go in for a wrap skirt , an off shoulder top ,a scarf to save my bad hair day ( I bet you can’t tell my hair was suffering ) and flat slippers ( no need for the crazy heels on grass and sand ).
I am not so much of a bold color person but needed to add some color to my earthy colors, thus the choice of color of my top to compliment my earthy colored skirts and scarf. If you noticed my green lipstick is all part of interpreting the concept; green for nature.
My sister who was my photographer had to force me on taking some shots. Hope you like it? Don’t forget to share your styles with me.
